Welcome to your site for resources that support your clinical practice and medical student education sponsored by the Department of Family Medicine and UMMC.

We thank you sincerely for giving of your time and talents to our medical students, and recognize what a tremendous commitment you have made to serve as a family medicine preceptor. You are an inspiration to our students who are privileged to learn from you.

By opening your practice, your community, and often your home, to these students, you allow them to experience the passion and compassion that is Family Medicine. While learning the clinical skills of preventive care and disease management, students also experience the joy of ongoing relationships with patients and families, the positive impact family doctors have on their community and the pervasive need for primary care in our health care system.
